Higher Education Advantages

Solid foreign language study shows that you're willing to stretch beyond the basics. Many colleges require at least two years of study in the same foreign language, and some prefer more (College Board).

Each university may also have tests available that students may take for credit (CLEP) and thus save on tuition costs! Our graduates have received up to 20 hours of college credit for foreign language study in high school.  This allows students to register for more challenging classes and gives them the opportunity to graduate with a double major which is so valuable in today’s competitive job market.

Students who completed at least four years of foreign language study scored more than 100 points higher on each section of the SAT than students who took a half year or less (College Board).
